The UCLA Physics and Astronomy and Earth and Space Sciences Departments are putting on an exciting
free public event on Saturday Nov. 14th. The event celebrates the International Year of Astronomy
and the launch of Astro Live!,
an outreach effort of Astronomy graduate students.

might be interested. Invite your facebook friends. There will be activities appropriate for all ages.
There are demonstrations, exhibits, hands-on workshops, talks from NASA, debates, planetarium shows,
sungazing and stargazing. See the moons of Jupiter as Galileo did 400 years ago. This event is
appropriate for extra credit assignments for middle and high school physical science classes.
