The Quark-Gluon Plasma produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions displays fascinating new properties. One of the important probes of the Quark-Gluon Plasma is the J/psi particle. Using the AMPT model, we study the production and flow of J/psi particles. The J/psi yield is seen to be very sensitive to the charm production cross section. More accurate measurement of charm production cross section will be needed to improve model predictions. We will also present average transverse momentum squared and elliptic flow results. The elliptic flow at intermediate pt is found to saturate to a value that is significantly higher than that of D mesons. It offers valuable additional insight into the equilibration and flow of charm quarks.
