Elliptic flow correlations provide a powerful probe for elucidating the properties and dynamical evolution of matter created in relativistic heavy ion collisions at RHIC. Recent measurements by the PHENIX collaboration have provided a detailed set of elliptic flow results for the phi meson and several other mesons and baryons. Results from these new measurements will be reported for a broad selection of transverse momentum and centralities for both strange and non-strange hadrons. The results for various identified particle species will be compared and contrasted with particular emphasis on what we learn from such comparisons.
