The particle
azimuthal anisotropy is sensitive to the early stage of high-energy
heavy ions collision and, is an observable that is affected by the
QGP. The behavior of anisotropy can be explained by a hydrodynamical
model at pT lower than 2GeV/c, but not at higher pT. Jet contribution
becomes significantly dominant at higher pT and the effect of jet
absorption in the medium is one explanation for the azimuthal anisotropy
in the high pT region in non-central collisions. We will present
the pT and centrality dependence of the azimuthal anisotropy of high
pT (up to 8~10 GeV/c) charged hadrons in 200 GeV Au+Au collisions
with RHIC-PHENIX RUN4 data. The relation of jet absorption to the
azimuthal anisotropy will be discussed.
