It is a lively debate nowadays to know whether the large suppression factor of non photonic electrons observed in ultrarelativistic heavy ions collisions is mostly due to elastic OR to radiative processes affecting the parent heavy quark within the QGP supposedly formed in these collisions. In order to help settling down this issue, we study the time evolution of the phase space distribution of heavy quarks during QGP expansion within the frame of the Fokker-Planck equation with drag and diffusion coefficients evaluated accordingly to these both types of processes. The Fokker-Planck equation being coupled to "realistic" QGP evolution scenario modelled within hydrodynamical approach, we first study the R_AA as a function of the transverse momentum and of the centrality. Having calibrated our transport coefficients in this manner, we turn to finer observables like elliptic flow of D and B mesons or D-Dbar azimuthal correlations in order to explore their sensitivity to the thermalization process.
