I will discuss recent results on strangeness production at RHIC. The spectra of strange hadrons have been measured in detail as a function of centrality for a variety of collision systems and energy. Thus, system size effects on strange particle production and their kinematics, such as
flow and the nuclear modification factors can be studied.
We have obtained a wealth of beautiful data which cannot be fully covered in one talk. I will therefore place specific emphasis on dA and AA production and how strangeness can be used to probe the dense matter produced in these
heavy-ion collisions.
